Capri City bags take up the shapes of undying, classic designs, painted by hand

Accessories have become more and more important in recent years and bags are surely one of the most glamorous accessory items "every woman's inseparable companion. Among this summer's soughtafter objects are the new bags proposed by Capri City, to be found at Asperula Stellina" and all over the beaches on Capri and elsewhere. Following reappraisal and modification, the bags take up the forms of the undying, classic models that have been a sign of elegance for decades, here made of glassgum, a new type of flexible, glazed PVC. There are many sizes and an endless variety of colours to choose from orange, purple, turquoise, bright green, white and hazel. Convenient and fun, the bags are also waterproof, ideal for the seaside. In Asperula Stellina, the shop that opens onto via Camerelle, alongside the great international designer names, the new glassgum bags and the many products resulting from Silvio Staiano's painstaking efforts, there are also original bags and hand-painted belts. The young painter Patrizia Costante reproduces the island's symbolic locations, like in a naìf painting, on belts in a variety of styles and on bags of many different models. Some evenings you might catch Patrizia painting in the shop, transforming the bags into little works of art, with enchanting fruit, the flight of seagulls, and the charms of Capri.

Negli ultimi anni gli accessori sono diventati sempre più importanti e uno degli accessori più glamour è sicuramente la borsa. Una compagna inseparabile per ogni donna. Tra gli oggetti del desiderio di quest’estate ci sono le nuove borse proposte da Capri City che si trovano da Asperula Stellina e stanno riempiendo le spiagge dell’isola e non solo. Riprendono, rivisitate e corrette, le forme di modelli intramontabili che hanno scandito l’eleganza per decenni e sono realizzate in glassgum, un nuovo materiale in pvc gommoso e satinato. Si possono scegliere in varie dimensioni e in una infinita varietà di colori. Arancio, porpora, turchese, verde brillante, bianca o nocciola. Comode e divertenti, non si bagnano e sono l’ideale per il mare. Da Asperula Stellina, il negozio che si affaccia su via Camerelle accanto alle grandi griffe internazionali, insieme alle nuove borse in glassgum e a numerosi prodotti frutto dell’attenta ricerca di Silvio Staiano ci sono anche originali borse e cinture dipinte a mano. La giovane pittrice Patrizia Costante fa sì che i luoghi simbolo dell’isola vengano riprodotti, come quadri naif, su cinture di varie fogge e su borse di vari modelli. Alcune sere è possibile vedere Patrizia che dipinge nel negozio trasformando le borse in piccole opere d’arte, in magie di frutta, voli di gabbiani, incanti capresi.
