It is one of the most suggestive caves on the island of Capri. The White Grotto is accessed through a steep staircase carved into the rock, directly from the sea. Once you reach the top, you can admire, among the white limestone rocks, the strong contrast between the brightness of the cave and the blue of the sea, making this place surreal thanks to the dense and suggestive stalactites and stalagmites. Some argue that these natural formations depict a statue resembling the Madonna in prayer. Anyone who visits cannot help but be enchanted by this natural scenery.
The cave is very high and is the union of two caves, one stacked on top of the other, making them spectacular both when viewed from the sea and from a kind of balcony with a railing placed on the top cave, which is accessed via the staircase.
